About Me

I was raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I have loved interactive design since my childhood, and I have a very strong connection to faith and family.

I got my start in the Experience Design career space by teaching myself the ins and outs of Adobe Photoshop and Flash. I used to use those skills on the side of my regular labor job to create websites ads, animated banners, and various website artifacts in the e-commerce space. Eventually I was invited to apply as a UX designer through a Microsoft vendor company, and the rest is history.

I always loved playing and designing games, taking some of my ideas to the Windows Phone marketplace, X box indie scene and eventually Kickstarter. This experience, alongside my growing experience with User Experience Design and Research got me an interview at Epic Games. You will find my unsatiated desire to contribute to any creative endeavors with design, narrative and world building… whether you ask or not.

I try to keep a good work-life balance by staying active with my children in various martial arts such as American Kenpo Karate and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. I also try to get out into the wilderness with my beautiful wife to go shooting, hiking or camping in the beautiful forests of Washington.

Here are some of my hard skills:
